Analysts expect earnings growth to accelerate further to about 11% in 2017 according to Standard & Poor’s, which is a bullish signal for the market. Because the market has been challenging, there’s been no shortage of bears and underweight money managers. So don’t be surprised to see investors chasing the market higher in 2017. In my experience, money managers miss turning points because they’re too dogmatic and don’t listen to the message of the market. I believe the bull market is back on and investors should position themselves accordingly.
