★★☆☆☆An end-of-term frolic for the theatre set, this series of skits by the American absurdist playwright Christopher Durang is more notable for its performances than its script. It’s an odd choice, really, for the stage debut by Meaghan Martin, the American actress best known for the Disney television film Camp Rock. Durang’s six meandering if fitfully inspired playlets are aimed very much at the cognoscenti, riffing on Greek tragedy, Noël Coward, Samuel Beckett, Tennessee Williams and the privations of the New York stand-up comedy scene.
