(AP Photo/Sue Ogrocki)Last Monday, 23 of the best players in college softball were selected in the 2018 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) college draft. So, college numbers tell us something. Once again, there were 23 players selected in the draft by these five teams. Obviously pitchers were the focus of the draft, so we will begin the review of the draft with these players. Not only did the Comets land the most productive hitter in 2018 (Shippy) but also the pitcher with the best numbers (Rupp).
