The 120th Mackenzie A&P Highland introduces new eventsJOHN BISSET/FAIRFAX NZ Mackenzie A&P Highland show at the Fairlie Showgrounds in April last year. A plan by the Mackenzie A&P Society to have the organisers of last November's Hororata Highland Games stage a similar event in Fairlie fell through last week. Hororata Highland Games event manager Cindy Driscoll said the group was unable to organise anyone to come down. Mackenzie A&P Society secretary Jodi Payne said they were now looking at the Caledonian Society of Otago or Kimbell Games as a replacement. Payne said the 120th Mackenzie A&P Highland show, held at the Mackenzie A&P Showgrounds on Easter Monday, expected between 12,000 and 15,000 people.
