The 10 APPCU 2022 Laureates CONTRIBUTED PHOTORead this in The Manila Times digital edition. AFTER the successful launch of the Award for Promoting Philippines-China Understanding last year (2021), the Association for Philippines-China Understanding (APCU) and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of the Philippines are delighted to announce the Ten Laureates of APPCU this year (2022). This year, the organizing committee of APPCU will be extending a Special Award, the Gawad Sultan Paduka Pahala, to the late Philippine Ambassador to China, Jose Santiago "Chito" Sta. This year's APPCU Hall of Fame awardees are former Philippine President Joseph Ejercito Estrada and former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the People's Republic of China Ambassador Francisco Benedicto. The ten awardees will be recognized in an award ceremony to be held on June 10 this year.
