LinkedIn looked at the skills gap in the 50 largest cities in America and found the ten places where it’s most pronounced. They compared that information to the skills of all LinkedIn users in the same city to determine whether there was a short supply of people holding in-demand skills, indicating a skills gap. The Bayou City’s biggest gap is in building construction skills, while it has an abundance of people with drilling and well management expertise. And like almost every city on LinkedIn’s list, Houston also sees a skills gap for health care management.
