To all those who’ve replayed the glorious few seconds of the infinitely watchable “A Star Is Born” trailer just to hear Lady Gaga wail “Ahhh Oaaa Ohh Ohhh Ahhh” for the umpteenth time, give your fingers a rest. The full version of the song in question, “Shallow,” co-written for the film by Gaga herself, was finally released on Thursday ― and it’s just as soaring and powerful as fans had hoped. In advance of “A Star Is Born’s” release in theaters Oct. 5, Gaga premiered the sweeping ballad on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio on Thursday afternoon with host Zane Lowe.
