That’s a larger Turkey Day drop than the likes of Tangled and The Good Dinosaur (-32%) or Enchanted and Frozen (-27%). It stands to reason, with the $2.6m Tuesday previews, that the holiday run for Moana may be slightly frontloaded. So, unless it crashes today, we’re still looking at an over/under $90m five-day debut for the animated adventure. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them held its ground yesterday, earning a solid $9.5 million.
