Public Relations Officer of the National Blood Service Ghana, Stephen Addai-Baah also appreciated donors for saving many people from death, stating that, “If there’s no blood, it means more deaths will be recorded”. World Blood Donor Day is observed every June 14 worldwide. This day creates awareness about the need for safe blood and blood products, as well as thank blood donors for their contribution to saving lives with blood.
