A source at the Justice Ministry indicated the Central Klong Prem Prison committee has endorsed a shortlist of eligible inmates, including Thaksin. "The committee has completed its review and agreed that all 10 names meet the criteria for parole consideration," the source said. Thaksin, who is serving a one-year sentence, has been in custody for more than six months and is expected to meet the two-thirds threshold required for parole in May.
