In another development, skeet shooter Sutiya Jiewchaloemmit is ready for the Rio Olympics. Sutiya, who will compete in Rio on Aug 12, said she was leaving for Brazil early to get used to conditions there. However, Tawa officials expect some tough opposition from Russia and China and a ban on the Russians would boost their chances of claiming medals a great deal. Sopita was a 53kg bronze medallist at the 2013 World Championships but will compete in the 48kg division in Rio. Sutiya has been in good form this year, winning two World Cup events, and is now the top-ranked skeet shooter in the world.
