On the other end of the scale, Venezuela was the most miserable with inflation hitting 181 per cent. Thailand has enjoyed low unemployment of below 1 per cent of total workforce for years. The consumer price index rose 0.1 per cent year-on-year in July. Trailing Thailand are Japan and Singapore, thanks mostly to the falling prices.
