BANGKOK (AP) — Thai lawmakers began debate Tuesday on the fourth and final no-confidence vote targeting Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha’s government before its four-year term ends next year. With general elections due in March, the government faces its last no-confidence vote after surviving three others in as many years. The debate targeting Prayuth and 10 of his Cabinet members is scheduled for four days, with the lower house to vote on Saturday. Each of the targeted Cabinet members must get at least 239 votes to survive. Organizers have vowed to stage activities, including their own no-confidence vote, to pile pressure on lawmakers to vote Prayuth out of office.
