(Photo: IEAT)Thailand's industrial sentiment index rose in January due to government measures and tourism, the Federation of Thai Industries reported on Wednesday. The FTI said its industrial sentiment index rose to 88.7 in January from 88.2 in the previous month. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's Bhumjaithai Party won the Feb 8 general election and last week announced a coalition with the Pheu Thai Party. Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas said the government would continue the economic policies it pledged during the election campaign.
