The Texas woman in her 30s who died of COVID-19 on a commercial airplane in July passed away on a Spirit Airlines flight from Las Vegas to the Lone Star State, officials have confirmed. On July 24, Spirit flight 208 to Dallas-Fort Worth diverted to Albuquerque, N.M. when crew found the passenger unresponsive on board, a spokesperson for Albuquerque International Sunport told Fox News on Thursday. Jenkins told WFAA that the woman was "ill and having trouble breathing” on the plane. As of Thursday morning, 868,981 cases of coronavirus, and 17,652 deaths, have been reported in Texas, according to Johns Hopkins University.
