A lawsuit filed Wednesday by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton accuses the Biden administration of contributing to the censorship of conservative media. Paxton was joined in the suit by conservative media outlets The Daily Wire and The Federalist. NewsGuard rates news and information websites based on basic, apolitical criteria of journalistic practice," a NewsGuard spokesperson told TND. The NewsGuard spokesperson also bucked the suggestion that the company offers "censorship technology," as the suit claims. In a press release on the suit, Paxton accused the State Department of working to undermine the First Amendment.
