It was an uppercut punch worthy of an ejection. Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Turner was booted from the Aggies’ loss at No. 10 Ole Miss in the third quarter Saturday for punching Rebels offensive lineman Micah Pettus in the groin. Turner, who had blocked a field-goal attempt earlier in the game, appeared to have his helmet stuck between Pettus’ legs before getting free and throwing the punch. Running back Quinshon Judkins scored a six-yard touchdown on the ensuing play to extend the Rebels’ lead to 28-14, and Ole Miss (8-1) held on for a 38-35 victory.
