The Houston Texans have formally added the general manager title to head coach Bill O’Brien’s responsibilities, team owner Cal McNair announced Tuesday. Jack Easterby will have the title of executive vice president of football operations, McNair said. “I am proud that we provided our fans with many thrilling victories at home, including a playoff win, and we delivered another double-digit win season. The Texans defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC wild-card round of the playoffs before being eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs the following weekend. O’Brien has a 52-44 record in six seasons as Houston’s coach.
