Zurich Ireland are promoting the event, and they have recruited Ireland’s Fittest Family coach and GAA legend, Davy Fitzgerald to oversee it. Fitzgerald, who has been busy filming the next season of Ireland’s Fittest Family as well as his own show, Davy’s Toughest Team, says he is “delighted to be attending the Ploughing Championships this year”. Alongside the Fittest Farmer contest, visitors the Zurich stand area will be in with a chance to win the Charolais Heifer that will be on display.
