Tesla has confirmed the Cybertruck has been delayed to 2022, from the original due date of late 2021. It might not seem like much of a delay at first, but the 2022 date doesn’t get any more specific than that, meaning Tesla could technically release the Cybertruck next Christmas. Delaying the Cybertruck may not come as much of a surprise to some, and not just the Tesla haters. Cybertruck will be produced at the Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, after production of the Model Y gets underway there later this year. The delay isn't the first time an electric truck has been hit with problems.
