Terror bid foiled in Quetta, three bullet-riddled bodies found in Barkhan


All three victim­s belong­ed to K-P's Dera Ismail KhanQUETTA: The law enforcement agencies foiled a terror bid by recovering a remote-controlled explosive device planted in the farmlands near Essa Nagri area of Brewery Road on Saturday. The local police lodged the case, while further investigations were underway. Separately, police discovered three bullet-riddled bodies in Tehsil-Rakhni area of Balochistan’s Barkhan district. The bodies were shifted to civil hospital Rakhni for an autopsy, where they were identified as Elam Deen, Nizam-ud-Din and Raza Khan, all were residents of Dera Ismail Khan of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, he added. The local police started investigation into the case after lodging First Information Report (FIR) against unknown assailants.
