A terminally ill cancer patient returning from a failed trip to kill his three doctors who, he said, treated him like a “laboratory monkey,” was arrested on charges of attempted murder. Officers found two loaded guns, a white rubber mask and a notebook with the names and addresses of several doctors while searching his rental car, according to a Palo Alto police report. Officials subsequently alerted Bay area police as well as the targeted doctors, one of whom either worked or lived in Palo Alto.
