I had hardly heard of Saron Gebresellassi before reading Hume’s piece, but now that I know more, I’m surprised she’s never really been taken seriously. “Human rights/personal injury lawyer, activist and polyglot” hardly begins to describe her. She’s going to lose this time, but I’ll definitely be watching her career closely.
