Teresa Lu wins Japan's Tokai golf tournamentTAIPEI, Taiwan -- Teresa Lu (盧曉晴) of Taiwan won the Munsingwear Ladies Tokai Classic 2016 Tournament Sunday, taking her second title in the LPGA of Japan Tour with a three-round total of 198. Lu fired a two-under 70 during the final round Sunday to tie with Mi-Jeong Jeon of South Korea and won the title with a birdie in the playoff. The win marked Lu's 11th career victory in Japan. Lu's career best came in 2014, when she won three championships — the Resort Trust Gold Tournament, the Japan Women's Open Golf Championship and the Japan LPGA Tour Championship Ricoh Cup. She earned her first major career win in November 2013, when she snatched the much-coveted Mizuno Classic, which is recognized by both the LPGA and the JLPGA.
