A tense situation is beginning to erupt in Rivers State on the second day of the #EndBadGovernance protest as police have barricaded some strategic locations, including the state’s GRA Junction in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area (LGA). This follows the sudden emergence of six different groups of protesters, who dressed in black, chanting songs such as “Tinubu must go.”With the developments, the ideal protesters who came out in the morning have erected canopies along the Presidential Hotel in Port Harcourt and gathered there while still chanting their songs, “We are hungry, we are hungry.”With the growing tense atmosphere, some protesters have begun to exit the streets and return home. Meanwhile, armed security personnel have been beefed up in strategic locations across the state capital.
