Swiss tennis maestro Roger Federer has announced that he has successfully undergone knee surgery and is set to be on the sidelines till the end of the French Open in June. The 38-year-old took to Twitter on Thursday (February 20), to release a statement on why he decided to undergo the surgery now. “My right knee has been bothering me for a little while," Roger said. "I hoped it would go away, but after an examination, and discussion with my team, I decided to have arthroscopic surgery in Switzerland yesterday," he added. "As a result, I will unfortunately have to miss Dubai, Indian Well, Bogota, Miami and the French Open.
