The Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy of Mozambique has received funds for a tender programme to procure a decentralised utility solar photovoltaic (PV) plus battery energy storage system project. DEADLINE: 13 September 2024 at 12pmThe tender programme will be executed under the Energy Regulatory Authority of Mozambique (ARERE). ARERE intends to select two experienced and qualified independent power producers to develop, finance, construct, own, operate and transfer two lots of solar PV plus battery energy storage system sub-projects in the provinces of Nampula, Zambézia, Sofala and Gaza.
