Ten new virus cases today, seven imported

Hong Kong has confirmed ten new patients infected with the coronavirus, including seven who flew into the city. The three local patients are epidemiologically linked with local cases. The three include a 1-year-old boy who lives in Hung Hing Court in Ho Man Tin, a 43-year-old man who lives in Lung Yiu House, Kam Lung Court in Ma On Shan, and a 42-year-old woman who lives in Block 6, Po Tin Estate in Tuen Mun. The seven returnees are from Ukraine, India, Myanmar, Argentina, France, the UK, and the Philippines. "Given that the situation of Covid-19 infection remains severe and that there is a continuous increase in the number of cases reported around the world, members of the public are strongly urged to avoid all non-essential travel outside Hong Kong,” a spokesman for the Centre for Health Protection added.
