Officers said they found 10 illegal hotels which had not sought permission to renovate the buildings or permission to host tour guides. Some of them allegedly do not report foreigners checking in and out of their hotels and employ illegal migrant staff. Apinan said: ”Many illegal hotels were found. “We took immediate action on the illegal migrant workers,” he added. “Some hotels don’t even have a fire exit.
