(Of course, the people who apply for our open positions don't know what the job pays -- because my employer doesn't include the starting salary information in their job ads). I like most parts of my job, but I know I'm underpaid. In our company we consider that type of employee a junior level person. When I started this job seven years ago the starting pay for a junior person was lower than it is now, of course. New people coming into my department at the junior level are getting $60,000 now, so how is that fair?
