PETALING JAYA: The chairman of the Save Seafield Mariamman Temple task force committee has offered an apology to the family of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim for asking police to probe whether Muhammad Adib was hit by his fire engine. He is believed to have been assaulted in a rioting incident at the temple on Nov 27. On Friday, a group of people gathered in Putrajaya after Friday prayers and marched to the Prime Minister’s office. The group called for the resignation of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department P. Waytha Moorthy, Human Resources Minister M. Kulasegaran and Selangor state exco V. Ganabatirau. They handed over a memorandum to the Prime Minister’s political secretary.
