PUTRAJAYA: Local telecommunication companies have expressed their commitment to help the government curb child pornography in the country. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the agencies also agreed to intensify enforcement measures through collaboration with Facebook during the meeting with representatives from telco companies. Dr Wan Azizah who is also the Women, Family and Community Development Minister said she also met with representatives from Facebook two weeks ago. Dr Wan Azizah said the National Population and Family Development Board had also developed an education module to promote family and child safety (PEKA). “The PEKA module supports the Child Act (amendment) 2016.
