Garissa Governor Nathif Jama has dismissed the recently formed Telamuge Alliance, bringing together the Abduwak and Samawadhal communities, saying it can’ stand the test of time. Jama addressed the press at his residence in Garissa town on Monday. The Abduwak and Samawadhal communities have divided the county seats. Ali Korane from the Abduwak clan was picked for governor and Abdi Dagane from the Samawadhal as his running mate. Jama, commenting for the first time on the alliance, said Telamuge is advanced by a few individuals to the exclusion of the majority of residents.
