Passengers who travelled in Indian Railways Tejas Express between Lucknow and New Delhi will be eligible to get compensation as the train got delayed by three hours during its journey on Saturday (October 19). Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express is India's first train whose passengers will be compensated in case of any delay, Railways had said earlier. This will be the first time in the history of railways that passengers will get compensation for a delay in train. Tejas Express passengers are eligible for compensation for Delay. On Saturday, Tejas Express, which started its journey with 451 passengers reached Delhi after three hours of delay, making all 451 passengers eligible for the compensation of Rs 250.
