Three speedboats from the BSF Indian border patrol will join three BGB speedboats in the search, said Lalmonirhat-15 BGB Battalion Director Lt Col Golam Morshed. A fire service diving squad is also searching the river, he said. The missing BGB trooper has been identified as Lance Naik Sumon Howladar who was assigned to the Dohogram Camp of the Lalmonirhat-15 BGB Battalion. BGB say he went missing late on Monday night during a speedboat patrol on the Teesta River near Patgram Upazila. Lt Col Morshed told bdnews24.com that Sumon and four others were on the patrol.
