Early Wednesday morning, Gulshan police arrested 17-year-old Arafat for the murder of Shakil. According to Gulshan police station OC Abu Bakar Siddique, Shakil worked and stayed at the ad firm Tinsel Town. Instructions were given to drop the ransom money outside the Tinsel Town offices. The police, who had been staking out all day, raided the Tinsel Town office in the evening and found Shakil’s body inside. On Wednesday morning, Shakil’s father Nabi filed a case with the Gulshan police station.
