A teenager shot and killed his father before opening fire with a handgun in a primary school playground in rural South Carolina yesterday. Two children were wounded. One, a six-year-old boy who was shot in the leg, is believed to be in a critical condition. The other pupil, and a woman teacher who was shot in the shoulder, were said to be in good condition.
