Teenager in court for allegedly stealing fruits from neighbour’s shopA teenager, Promise Chidera, on Friday appeared in a Karmo Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja for allegedly stealing fruits from his neighbour’s shop. The police charged Chidera, 19, who resides in Angwa Cement village, Abuja with joint act and theft. The Prosecution Counsel, Mrs Ukagha Ijeoma, told the court that the complainant, Kabiru Ibrahim of the same address, reported the matter at the Life Camp Police station on June 27. 30 p.m., the defendant and one other, at large, broke into the complainant’s shop where he sells fruit without his consent. She said that during police investigation the defendant confessed that he and a friend called ”JJ”, broke into the shop to steal fruits.
