LAHORE: A teenager shot dead a three-year-old child in the provincial capital on Sunday and escaped the scene of the crime. Police said that the incident took place in Kahna area of Lahore where a 12-year-old boy opened fire with a pistol at three-year-old Asad, killing him on the spot. The accused fled the scene after committing the murder. The body was shifted to a nearby hospital to undergo medico-legal formalities. Family, relatives of the deceased and dwellers of the area held a protest demonstration against the incident by blocking Ferozepur Road.
