Police recovered the “hanging body” of 15-year-old Chandni Akhter on Sunday and sent it to Madaripur Sadar Hospital for autopsy. They reported seeing multiple wounds on the victim's body. Panchkhola union parishad member and a witness to the autopsy, Dulufa Begum, confirmed that there were multiple wounds on Chandni's body. However, Madaripur Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Kamrul Hasan said they had retrieved a "hanging body" from the house.
