The girl, believed to be from Cheshire, was with two friends when she tumbled from the concrete sea wall walkway. An RNLI volunteer crew said the girl was found floating face down in the treacherous, freezing water on Friday night. It is understood she was knocked unconscious and remains in a serious condition at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. "The RNLI crew did brilliantly. "They recovered her very quickly, even though it was a struggle because the sea was quite rough at that time."
