SANTIAGO CITY –– A teenage boy died while another was injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a passenger bus along the national highway here on Monday, police said. Police Staff Sergeant Gideon Valerozo, Santiago City police investigator, identified the fatality as Jonathan Bucad, 15, while the injured as Beet Maggac, 27, both residents of Ifugao province. ADVERTISEMENTInvestigators said the motorcycle tried to overtake a car and collided with the approaching bus on the opposite lane in Barangay Mabini here. Bus driver Jaymar Reyes of Cauayan City surrendered to authorities and is facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and serious physical injuries.
