Teen admits trying to stab mother to deathSONGKHLA: A 16-year-old boy on Sunday surrendered to police in Hat Yai district under an arrest warrant. The attack took place on Saturday at 3am at a house on Kanchanawanich Road in Muang Kho Hong Municipality. On Sunday the boy, accompanied by relatives, surrendered to Pol Col Saksit Meesaeng, the Kho Hong police chief. The boy reportedly said he wanted to kill his mother in order to be free of her domination. In a handwritten note given to police, the boy said he attacked his mother while she was asleep.
