By a 50-42 percent margin, Americans now have a favorable view of the ACA, the Kaiser Health Tracking poll released Friday shows. The poll came less than 48 hours after Cruz told the Washington Examiner that Republicans need to “finish the job” on repealing and replacing the ACA. The Kaiser poll said 4 in 10 Americans – a deteriorating viewpoint – still think the individual marketplaces are collapsing . But nearly 9 million Americans signed up for individual coverage for 2018 coverage during this past open enrollment period, the fifth annual open enrollment period. The number of Americans who signed up was just shy of 2017’s Obamacare enrollment.
