Credit: DellI still swear by my MacBook Pro but, make no mistake, it has fallen behind cutting-edge Windows laptops. (I also have a 13-inch MacBook Pro mid-2017 that I am using as a benchmark. By comparison...Apple is still using 7th Gen Intel dual-core processors on the 13-inch MacBook Pro (though I expect that Apple will upgrade to 8th Gen when it refreshes the MacBook Pro this year). Apple has plenty of breathing room if it wanted to bring down the weight of the 13-inch MacBook Pro, for example. ----*I use the 13-inch MacBook Pro much less than the 15-inch MBP.
