Team NZ arrives for Cup parade

Possible rain on Dunedin's America's Cup parade will not be enough to stop residents celebrating Team New Zealand's win. Dunedin City Council events special projects co-ordinator Tammy Jackman said today's parade would go ahead, even if forecast showers arrived. The noon parade will feature 28 members of the sailing team. Ms Jackman said Team New Zealand's schedule meant the parade could not be postponed if the weather was bad. Several thousand people turned out in Christchurch yesterday for that city's parade, despite sleet and snow.
