Celebrity chef Al Brown, team captain and former olympic rowing medallist Simon Dickie, Chris Alpe, who founded Maui Campers and Juicy Rentals and now lives in Los Angeles, and Carl McNeill of Swift Fly Fishing in Wanaka made up Team Kiwi at what is regarded by many as the most prestigious fly fishing event in North America. McNeill, of Swift Fly Fishing in Wanaka, was competing at the One Fly for the first time and said it was "a real thrill."
