Teaching the hearing impaired during the pandemic made me feel like a YouTuber. I am not rigid with teaching and learning times as some students have to wait for their parents to return from work before they have a device to use. My approach is to focus on the key points as much as possible when doing online teaching to avoid dull classes. Even if the traditional teaching method is affected by the pandemic, children’s learning must never be interrupted. Some are not as advanced as others so I had to ensure that home-based teaching and learning (PdPR) was effective for every single one of them.
