KUALA LUMPUR: The primary school teacher, who allegedly molested nine students at a school in Hulu Selangor earlier this year, has been transferred to another school. He said the teachers involved had been transferred to other schools and subjected to counselling and close monitoring. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said that draft laws on child sexual crimes will be tabled in Parliament following approval from the Cabinet. Azalina said the draft laws were based on recommendations of the Special Task Force on Sexual Crimes set up in August to study the issue. She said the committee held meetings on Sept 6 and Oct 4 to gather feedback from relevant stakeholders to draft the laws.
