According to the parents who complained, teacher Aminur Rahman—a 45-year-old father of three—had been raping six students from the second grade, third grade, and fourth grade. Ferdousi Ara, head teacher at the school, confirmed the accusations. On Wednesday morning, scores of parents and children protested outside the school. A probe committee was formed the same day and found that Aminur had been raping six students for over a year. Concerned parents have demanded capital punishment for Aminur, citing the horror of his actions and the need to set an example.
